Cameron Daya Berg (b. 14 December 2006), is a French half-veela witch, and the daughter of Arthur Sr. and Ines Berg, and middle sister of Tamatha and Arthur Jr. Though originally born in France, it was her parent's that ultimately decided to move to Canada when she was but five-years-old. Her life was pretty normal, until she fell into depression later in life, after the untimely death of her younger brother. It was ultimately Cameron's fault that Arthur was dead, and she blamed herself each day, and surely, her parents did too. But a young mind was open to all the flood gates, and eventually, that gate lead to self-harm and therapy. It was Tamatha, her elder sister, that found her in the middle of one of her fits, eventually sharing with their parents that Cameron was self-harming and got her the held that she needed. She grew up in Quebec, Canada until moving to London to stay with her sister to finish her education.
Cameron attended Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 2019-2024, sadly, Cameron was unable to finish her education within the halls of that school. In the Fall of 2024, Cameron moved to London to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy, where she will eventually graduate come Summer 2026. Cameron is well-known among her fellow Ravenclaws as an exceptional Chaser, a surprise that came upon her arrival at Hogwarts.

Early Life (2007-2018)[]

Born earlier than expected, Cameron made her grand entrance into the world within the wee hours of the night in the home of Ines and her husband, Arthur. She wasn’t the first to be born to the half-blood family, and she surely wouldn’t be the last, but she was special. The young babe cried as she pushed her way into the world and she was the apple of her father’s eyes from that moment on. Of course, her sister was quite jealous due to being ten at the time of the young child’s birth, but that was to be expected. Raised in France for a few years, Cameron was raised among the wealthy socialites of France at the time and was even raised in the dialect. Of course, due to Arthur being from Canada, she also was raised with English and the type of French that he was raised with.
It wasn’t until Cameron was about five that they returned to Quebec, Canada where Arthur’s dying mother lived. They returned to take care of the woman and then they just never left, mostly because they had already pulled their oldest daughter out of Beauxbatons Academy of Magic and transferred her to Ilvermorny to finish out her last few years. It was also around that time that Cameron met Steve and Nora Kolstad, and they instantly became friends. As years went on, it wasn’t until Cameron turned eleven that she learned her friends were going to be homeschooled while she attended Ilvermorny, but she didn’t mind. Each break back she always spent her time with the Kolstad and grew closer and closer to the half-vampires, she felt more attuned with them due to her half-veela status. They were the outcast, and she loved it.
Ilvermorny Years (2019-2024)[]

However, it was in her second years at Ilvermorny that she learned that her mother was pregnant once more and when she returned for summer break, she already had a baby brother in which they named Arthur Jr. However, his life would be short lived. Because at the age of two, he drowned within the family pool. How had that happened? Well, no one was watching the boy except for Cameron herself, but she had fallen asleep in the kitchen after eating and had woken to screams. At merely the age of fifteen, she had lost her baby brother and had been the result. Of course, her parents in a rage took out their anger and pain on her as they buried her baby brother. At the age of fifteen, she had become a murderer in her parent’s eyes, and it showed.
After that, the depression kicked in as fast and quick as a punch to the gut. She started to fail her classes, got kicked off the sports team at Ilvermorny and had turned to cut her thigh for release. It wasn’t until a year later that she was caught, by her older sister no less, that turned her into her parents. Of course, when her sister returned from England, where she moved after her brother’s death, to surprise the family and take them out for dinner, she had found Cameron in the bathroom with blood on her thighs and a razor in her hand. Cameron was caught but someone she hadn’t seen in almost two years, and thus, their relationship slowly deteriorated. However, her parents, realizing what they had done, sent her away to a clinic for the summer for mental health and she returned with guilt. Sometimes she looks down at her thighs, tracing them for the time being, and remembering that she should have just told someone what she was going through.
However, it was in her sixth year of Ilvermorny, or what would have been her sixth year, that she learned she was being sent to Hogwarts due to the school having been destroyed and deemed uninhabitable, but there was a plus side to it, Steve and Nora were going as well. Since Arthur was a businessman in the area, he couldn’t leave, and thus she was thrown on her sister who lived in England. A sister that was unfamiliar to her now, but she didn’t care. They kept mostly to themselves the entire summer, and she enjoyed her time in a new place.
Hogwarts Years (2024-2026)[]
Sixth Year

I started skipping class after a while. Use to hide in the woods near the grounds. I knew the best places to hide, though—I got in trouble a handful of times,” |

Being the middle child, Cameron, in essence, is like a bunch of other people that are middle children. She is a social being, though sometimes hides behind a shy exterior – however, once you get to know her you’d wish you didn’t. People sometimes believe that she is a wallflower, but she’s not, she’s the most spirited young woman anyone has ever seen. She’s a great team player, which is seen through playing muggle sports around Canada and playing sports while at Ilvermorny. She’s also great when it comes to projects that involve groups because she’s a natural born leader and thrives under the pressure of it all. She’s very cooperative and trusting, making her the best friend that you could ever have. She’s someone that holds independence to the tee, known to think outside the box and not to follow the instructions like some fool; she’s also extremely empathetic.
Cameron is also known as a ‘wiseass’ something that her dear friend Nora likes to call her. Some would even say she’s headstrong and challenges authority, like teachers and stuff, but –Nah she’s totally like that. She is known to be extremely passionate about certain topics and has even protested certain things along her life, like that time she tied herself naked around a tree to stop it from being chopped down, that damn thing was sacred in her mind. She’s also the type of person that doesn’t judge others, which makes her the perfect person to befriend the weird and outcast types. She’s also a total tease and can be pretty brutal when she does it, but she’s nice on the inside.
There was a time in her life when she was depressed, and being the naïve and gullible person that she is, she fell into that depression hard and fast. Because of blame that fell onto her for an accident, she began taking a blade to her thigh. She fell into a dark place for a while before she got help, and is known to lean on people too much. While she doesn’t judge other’s, she takes all judgment upon herself to heart, and it tears her apart. She’s an overachiever and someone that is determined to show her worth, no matter how long it takes. She also believes that she is genuinely hilarious, but others might not see past her dry and morbid humor.
