Elias is one of the illegitimate children of Fenrir Greyback. Elias was the Durmstrang champion during the 2023-2024 Tri-Wizard Tournament. He took third place in the tournament. He died in the Durmstrang ship explosion.
Personality
Elias Greyback is someone who stays to himself mostly. He doesn't have many friends, and that is mostly because of his surname. At Durmstrang, he has only one friend, and that boy has been friends with him since his first year there. Other than that, people tend to stay away from Eli. It could be because of his intimidating persona, or the fact that his father is a werewolf and so is he. It wasn't kept a secret at Durmstrang; everyone knew to stay away from Eli during the full moon and to make sure he was in a safe place for that night. It's something he feels terrible about, even though he can't change it. He wishes everyone didn't know, that he had some privacy, but with his name it was kind of hard to tell people things about himself first hand.
What Elias wished people knew was how soft he was; he is truly a great friend and gives great advice. Even though he's shy and very introverted and keeps to himself, he knows how to make others feel better, especially growing up just him and his mother. And since Elias only has the one friend, he does go on adventures a lot. Especially with his mother; they go on a trip to a different country every summer and it's something he has always enjoyed. Not only spending time with his mum, but being able to just be himself.
The one thing Elias hasn't told anyone, is that he's bisexual. Not even his mum knows. Being at Durmstrang is stressful enough on Eli, and he doesn't want to give them anything else to make fun of him for or try to duel him for. This is one thing he doesn't think he'll ever be able to let show, no matter how many boys he has crushes on, Eli feels like he'll always have to pretend to be that straight, werewolf, Greyback lunatic.

One cold night, Elsi Mizan was walking home from her job in Bulgaria. It was freezing, pitch black, and she was all alone. She was only 17, about to turn 18 that coming month. And it was the worst night of her life, as she turned the corner and was snatched up, dragged into some unknown place, and forbidden things were done to her. The face however, of the person who did such things, will always be etched into her mind, and she will always see bits and pieces of him in her son, Elias Reid Greyback.
Elias was born on June 18th, 2006 to Elsi, who was only 18. Her parents lived in India, but she had been living in Bulgaria for a while now. Her parents and her brother, who were Romani, did not appreciate that Elsi did not want to continue the religious and family traditions, so she had been kicked out. Thankfully, after finding a babysitter for Elias, she had gone to wandmaking school and eventually opened her own shop when Elias turned two years old.
Growing up, Elias was on of the sweetest children you'd ever meet. He always listened, never through fits, and tended to help his mother out with whatever she needed. He absolutely adored his mother, and up until he knew how he was conceived and who he was, he would do whatever possible to make sure she was safe and protected no matter what the consequences to him where.
Unfortunately, on Elias' ninth birthday, Fenrir Greyback had returned to the home when he was sleeping. He had snuck in the window, and bit his son. Elias' screaming woke up Elsi, and she had gone into the room with just enough time to watch Fenrir jump back out the window. Being a pureblood witch, Elsi had done much research just for if this incident was ever to occur. She did not have Wolfsbane Potion, so while her baby boy was in this pain, all she could do was hold him tight until it passed. After this night, full moons became very difficult. Bed time became very difficult. Night time became difficult. Elias was a different person, and now he had to live with this torture inflicted on him.
Two years later, Elias received his letter of acceptance to Durmstrang School. His emotions were all a flutter. He was happy, but also nervous. What was he going to do? There was no doubt everyone knew who his father was. But, what about when the full moon occurred? He didn't know what he was going to do. Elsi had let his Headmaster know of his condition, and he was sent to school stocked up with Wolfsbane Potion. Not only that, but his Headmaster himself brought him to a safe location every full moon and waited the night until morning.
His first year on was hard for Eli. No one liked him. Many were afraid of him. They didn't know Elias himself, but they knew Fenrir, and that was enough for them. There were very few people who dared speak to Elias, even if their own parents were Death Eaters. Eventually, when Elias was about fourteen, he didn't let it bother him anymore. Having a lot of time to do nothing since he had no friends, Elias had superb grades. That was never doubted, he was incredibly wise, especially as a child.
Every summer, his mother and him went on a vacation to different countries around the world. Elias has been everywhere; Spain, Australia, America, Greenland, etc. But, he hadn't been to the UK. And what Elias had just got notice of, was that the three wizarding schools, Hogwarts, Durmstrang, and Beauxbatons were going to be doing the Triwizard Tournament once more. This was it. This was his chance to prove to people how strong and great he was, and how unlike his father he was. He planned to put his name in, and hopefully, he'd get chosen to represent his school.
